How long does window tinting take?
Most cars: 2–3 hours for a full tint. Trucks and larger SUVs: 3–3.5 hours. If old tint is being removed first, add about an hour. We'll confirm timing when you book. -
Are all three films signal-friendly?
Yes. Scorpion's Carbon, Nano Ceramic (Shield), and Ceramic IR (Shield Plus) films are all non-metalized — zero interference with cell, GPS, Bluetooth, keyless entry, or toll tags. -
What's the difference between Carbon, Nano Ceramic, and Ceramic IR?
Carbon — solid heat block, dark look, budget-friendly (~40% heat blocked, 99% UV). Nano Ceramic — cooler cabin, crystal-clear view, no signal interference (~60% heat blocked, 99% UV). Our most popular pick. Ceramic IR — top-tier heat rejection (~80%, industry-leading IR), 99% UV, premium optical clarity. You'll feel the difference the second you get in. All three carry a lifetime warranty. -
How long should I keep windows up after tint?
2–3 days minimum so the film can cure. We'll give you the exact care instructions at pick-up. Avoid rolling down windows and deep-cleaning the glass for the first week. -
Will tint fade or turn purple?
Not Scorpion films. The dyes and carbon/ceramic particles are color-stable — they're not going anywhere. That's why the warranty is lifetime. -
Do you remove old tint?
Yes — old tint removal runs about an hour depending on how well it's bonded and whether the rear defroster needs protection. It's priced separately and added to your quote. -
Can you tint commercial vans, ATVs, boats, or RVs?
Yes. Anything with a window is fair game. Pick "Other / Custom" on the quote wizard and describe what you need — we'll follow up with a custom price. -
Is a deposit required?
No deposit to book an auto tint. Payment is due at pick-up, and the price we quoted is the price you pay. If anything changes during the job, we tell you before we proceed.
